. LEADERSHIP WITHIN THE COLO-NESCO ECUMENICAL MINISTRIES
Ecumenical ministry is possible when leadership is provided by all Churches through a cooperative effort to serve Christ when and as needed. We are fortunate to
have dedicated persons who have volunteered to help lead this endeavor. These persons are:
Bethany Lutheran Church- Kathy Sandmann, Pastor, Gerald B., and Lisa W.
Bethel United Methodist Church- Fran B., Pastor
Colo United Methodist Church- Lewis F. & Pam F., Pastors
Cornerstone Church of Christ- Charles R., Pastor
St. Mary’s & St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church- Father Rick D. and Patricia A.
McCallsburg Presbyterian Church- Fran B., Pastor, Dorathy T. and Phil E.
Zearing Christian Church- Ted W., Pastor/Elder and Tommy C., Pastor/Elder
We are thankful for each person above as it validates that we can serve Christ in our individual respective
Churches and within the COLO-NESCO area to minister together as a team for the cause of Christ! We remember
the Words of Jesus:
As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. "My prayer is not for them alone. I
pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and
I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that
you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me.
May they be brought to complete unity
to let the world know that you sent me
and have loved them
even as you have loved
me.

2. COLO & ZEARING-McCALLSBURG FOOD PANTRIES
A. The Colo Food Pantry could use both paper product and personal care
items. If you can help, please contact the Colo United Methodist Church at 641-377-2570. Open Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 & Friday morning, 9:30-11:30am at the Colo Methodist
Church. This is an East Story County Food Pantry.
B. The Zearing/McCallsburg Food Pantry- The Food Pantry
is in need fo YOUR HELP due to families using it to supplement their food needs. Please bring your donations to your Church
or to the City Hall. The pantry is open
each Wed. from 5-7pm at the Zearing City Hall.
